Discovery Call

We get to know your vision, your lot situation, your budget range, and your timeline. This is where we determine if J2HD is the right fit and we will be honest if we are not.

30 – 60 Minutes

Consulting Agreement

You retain J2HD as your consulting partner, not just a contractor. This agreement defines scope, fees, and the level of transparency you have into every decision made on your build.

Documentation Phase

Trade Team Assembly

We match your project with our vetted network of trade professionals, architects, engineers, GC, and subs selected specifically for your build type, region, and timeline.

Vetting & Matching

Design & Planning

Floor plan selection or custom design, finish selections, structural planning, and full permit processing. You are involved at every step. Nothing gets locked in without your sign-off.

4 – 12 Weeks

Break Ground

Site prep, foundation, and framing begin. You have real-time visibility through the J2HD client portal, including photos, updates, schedules, and budget tracking in one place.

Week 1

Framing & Structure

The bones of your home go up. All framing is inspected before enclosure. You can walk the site at any stage. This is your home, and you are always welcome.

Weeks 2 – 8

Mechanicals

Plumbing, electrical, and HVAC rough-in, followed by inspections. All work is done by licensed professionals. All invoices are visible to you in real time.

Weeks 8 – 14

Finishes & Selections

Interior finishes, cabinetry, flooring, countertops, fixtures, and exterior details come together. Guided by your J2HD consultant so every choice fits your vision and your budget.

Weeks 12 – 22

Final Walkthrough & Punch List

We walk every inch of your home with you. Any item that does not meet the J2HD standard gets flagged and corrected before we hand over keys.
