PNW Modern Build

The story

A young, first-time-homeowner family came to us with a big vision and a design that had hit a wall. They'd started out with their own designer and things were getting tough. J2HD stepped in, dug into how they actually wanted to live, and helped them land on a home that fit — a PNW-modern build with an Australian lean, inspired by our Jennings Purdy View home from a couple years back. Under 3,000 square feet, but smart with every foot: three bedrooms, two and a half baths, a bonus room, a separate office, and a four-car tandem garage. The heart of it lives out back — a deck with stadium stairs cascading down to a large open yard, the kind of spot where a family spends a lot of good years. Ground broke in 2023 and the home was finished in 2024. A dream forever home, done right.

Project highlights

A back deck with stadium stairs stepping down to a big open yard. A young family came to J2HD with a stalled design and left with the forever home they'll grow into. Broke ground 2023, wrapped 2024.
