The Story

Designed by Chris Burk, CFO of J2HD, in partnership with his parents, this remastered modern farmhouse was thoughtfully developed as a speculative build with no expense spared. The home blends classic farmhouse character with Northwest transitional detailing, resulting in a timeless yet highly livable design tailored for privacy, comfort, and long-term flexibility. Situated on a long, narrow lot with a steep canyon edge along the driveway, the home was carefully positioned to maximize privacy while maintaining close proximity to nearby amenities and town conveniences. The wraparound porch and expansive windows flood the interior with natural light, while the main-floor primary suite and dedicated office allow the home to function seamlessly for young families or downsizing couples. Upstairs, additional bedrooms and a loft provide flexible living space.
